Luminous Smelt Rig Oat Lure 1.8cm 0.15g Glow Hook Bait for Smelt Fishing

Luminous Smelt Rig Oat Lure is a specialised terminal tackle item designed for targeting smelt. This small, oat-shaped lure is built around a luminous body and sharp hooks, making it a practical choice for anglers who fish for smelt in low-light conditions or at night.

The lure measures 1.8 cm in length and weighs just 0.15 g, allowing it to be presented naturally on light tackle. Its compact size and low weight make it suitable for delicate presentations where smelt may be cautious or feeding on small prey.

The body of the lure is luminous, meaning it glows in the dark after being charged by light. This feature is particularly useful when fishing for smelt during dusk, dawn or night sessions, as the glow can help attract fish from a distance and trigger bites.

Each lure is fitted with sharp hooks that are intended to provide a reliable hook hold once a smelt takes the bait. The hooks are integrated into the oat-shaped body, creating a compact and ready-to-use presentation.

This smelt rig oat lure is best suited to light fishing setups, such as those used for smelt, where small hooks and subtle presentations are often required. It can be fished on a variety of rigs, depending on local regulations and angler preference.

Whether you are targeting smelt from a pier, boat or shore, this luminous oat lure offers a simple and effective way to add attraction and hooking potential to your rig. Its small size and glowing properties make it a useful addition to a smelt angler's tackle box.
