Stintine Luminous Oat Lure 1.8cm 0.13g Sharp Hooks Glow Bait for Sea Trout

Stintine Luminous Oat Lure is a specialist artificial bait designed for anglers who target sea trout and other predatory fish in low-light conditions. Manufactured from a luminophore material, this lure glows significantly brighter and for longer than standard oat-style lures, giving you a distinct visual advantage when fishing at dawn, dusk or during the night.

The luminophore construction is the key feature of this lure. Unlike conventional glow-in-the-dark coatings that fade quickly, the luminophore compound used here retains its charge and emits a strong, consistent glow over an extended period. This means you can present the lure with confidence during the most productive feeding windows, when predatory fish are actively hunting but natural light is limited.

Each lure is fitted with exceptionally sharp hooks. These fine, needle-point hooks are designed to penetrate cleanly and hold securely, helping you convert every take into a landed fish. The sharpness of the hook points is particularly important when targeting sea trout, whose bony mouths and powerful runs demand reliable hook penetration and retention.

At just 1.8 cm in length and weighing only 0.13 g, the Stintine Luminous Oat Lure offers a compact, lightweight presentation. This makes it ideal for finesse fishing, where a subtle, natural-looking offering is required. The small profile is well suited to matching the size of small baitfish and insects that sea trout and other predators feed on in coastal and estuarine environments.

The lure's lightweight design also means it can be fished effectively with light tackle. Whether you are casting with a light spinning rod or fishing under a float, the lure's minimal weight allows for delicate presentations without spooking wary fish. Its oat-like shape and luminous finish combine to create an attractive target that stands out in murky or coloured water.

This lure is particularly effective for sea trout fishing in rivers, estuaries and along the coast. The glowing properties make it a strong choice for night fishing or for sessions that start before first light and continue after sunset. It can also be used for other predatory species that respond to small, luminous offerings.

For best results, charge the lure under a bright light source before fishing to maximise its glow. The luminophore material will then release that stored energy over time, maintaining its visibility throughout your session. This simple preparation step can make a noticeable difference to your catch rate in low-light conditions.

Whether you are an experienced sea trout angler or just starting out, the Stintine Luminous Oat Lure offers a reliable, effective option for tempting fish when visibility is poor. Its combination of bright, long-lasting glow, razor-sharp hooks and a compact, fish-catching profile makes it a valuable addition to any sea trout or predator angler's tackle box.
