Akara Hornet Lite 3.5g Spinner Lure 5.5cm Trout Perch Pike Spinning Bait

Akara Hornet Lite 3.5g is a classic inline spinner built around an elliptical blade, refined with several innovative design solutions that set it apart from other models in the range. Weighing just 3.5 g and measuring 5.5 cm, it is a compact, easy-casting lure that works well on light spinning tackle and is equally at home on still and flowing water.

The blade of this spinner is designed with a cylindrical bend. This particular curvature is what delivers an almost perfect rotation and produces strong vibrations through the water, giving off the kind of pressure waves that predatory fish can detect with their lateral line. The result is a lure that feels alive on the retrieve and remains readable to fish even in coloured or low-light conditions.

The body of the core features a textured, rough surface. As the spinner is retrieved, this finish generates additional water turbulence around the body, adding to the overall disturbance the lure creates. In practice, that extra commotion can help trigger a reaction from following fish and encourage them to commit to the take.

The opening angle of the blade, its rotation frequency and the overall weight of the model combine to make this spinner a genuinely versatile option. It can be fished effectively in still waters such as lakes and ponds, as well as in rivers and small streams, where a steady retrieve against or across the current keeps the blade turning.

The size and colour range of the Hornet Lite are ideally suited to trout fishing. The compact 5.5 cm profile and 3.5 g weight allow it to be presented on light line and fished slowly through likely lies without spooking wary fish. The same qualities make it a productive lure for perch, chub, pike and other predators that readily take small spinners.

With a choice of ten colour options, the Hornet Lite allows anglers to match the hatch, the water clarity and the light conditions on the day. Whether you are targeting trout in a small stream or searching a lake for perch and pike, this spinner offers a proven, fish-catching profile in a genuinely usable weight class.
