Akara Action Viskan 65 12g Salmon Spinning Lure Pike Trout Sea Trout

Akara Action Viskan 65 12g is a compact, heavy-bodied metal spinning lure developed for salmon and sea trout fishing, yet versatile enough to tempt a wide range of predatory species. Its slim, dense profile is designed to cut through the air cleanly, making it a reliable choice when accurate, long-distance casting is required.

The narrow, weight-forward body gives the Viskan 65 excellent flight characteristics. Whether you are working a wide river, a windswept estuary or a large lake, the lure carries well on the cast and allows you to cover water efficiently without constantly repositioning.

Once in the water, the curved profile of the blade produces a stable, controlled action in moving current. Rather than tumbling or twisting, the lure holds its line and continues to work predictably, which is particularly useful when fishing rivers and tidal flows where presentation matters.

The Akara Action Viskan is characterised by its sharp, aggressive movement. It begins working almost immediately on contact with the water, so the lure is fishing effectively from the moment it lands. This instant action helps when fish are actively feeding and reaction bites are the order of the day.

With a length of 6.5 cm and a weight of 12 g, this is a compact but dense lure. The 12 g weight supports long casts on suitable tackle, while the 6.5 cm body remains a manageable mouthful for a variety of predators. It is a useful size for both clear and lightly coloured water.

The Viskan 65 is available in a broad range of colour finishes, giving anglers the flexibility to match the lure to water clarity, light conditions and the natural baitfish present. Colour options include a variety of metallic, natural and contrasting patterns.

This lure is suitable for targeting salmon, trout, sea trout, pike, perch and other predatory fish. It can be used in rivers, estuaries, lakes and larger stillwaters, and works well when fished with a steady retrieve, with pauses, or with rod-tip variations to trigger follows and takes.

For anglers seeking a compact, heavy metal lure with a lively action and strong casting performance, the Akara Action Viskan 65 12g is a practical addition to the tackle box.
