Decoy Worm217 Zero-Dan Hooks – Weedless Offset Worm Hooks for Soft Plastics

Decoy Worm217 Zero-Dan are specialist offset worm hooks from the Japanese brand Decoy, designed for rigging soft plastic lures in a way that keeps the hook point protected and the presentation snag-free. The Zero-Dan concept places the hook point close to the body of the lure, so the bait can be worked through cover with a much lower risk of catching on weed, wood or rock.

The hook is built around a wide, rounded bend that leaves plenty of room for bulky soft plastics, creature baits and craws. This extra gap helps the lure sit naturally on the hook without bunching, and it allows the hook point to drive home cleanly when a fish takes the bait.

Each hook is finished with a sharp, chemically treated point that bites into the fish's mouth with minimal pressure. The offset shank and the Zero-Dan geometry work together to keep the point tucked against the lure during the retrieve, which is particularly useful when fishing Texas rigs, Carolina rigs or any presentation that has to pass through snaggy ground.

The Decoy Worm217 Zero-Dan is available in a range of sizes to suit different lure lengths and target species. Smaller sizes such as #3 and #2 are ideal for finesse soft plastics and smaller worms, while the larger #4/0 and #5/0 sizes are suited to big creature baits and bulky craws. Each pack contains two hooks, except size #3, which is supplied as a pack of three.

These hooks are a practical choice for anglers who fish soft plastics around weed, fallen trees, rocks and other cover. The protected hook point reduces the number of snags and allows the lure to be presented confidently in places where a standard exposed hook would constantly catch. Whether you are targeting perch, zander, pike or bass, the Worm217 Zero-Dan gives you a reliable, sharp and well-balanced hook for weedless soft plastic fishing.
