Tungsten Jig Head Hook Size 6 0.8g Trout Fishing Lure Head Decoy AH-12

Tungsten Jig Head Hook Size 6 0.8g is a specialist jig head designed for trout fishing, including the popular Trout Time approach and other ultralight trout presentations. It combines a compact tungsten head with a premium hook, making it an excellent choice for fishing soft plastic lures where a natural, subtle presentation is required.

The head is made from tungsten, a dense material that allows the jig to reach the desired weight while keeping the overall profile small. This is particularly useful when fishing small soft baits, as the compact head does not overwhelm the lure and helps maintain a natural movement in the water. The 0.8 g weight is well suited to ultralight and finesse trout fishing, where delicate presentations often make the difference.

Each jig head is fitted with a Decoy AH-12 hook. These hooks are known for being extremely sharp and strong, providing reliable hook penetration and holding power when targeting trout. The hook is barbless, which is a significant advantage for catch-and-release fishing and for waters where barbless hooks are mandatory. The barbless design also makes unhooking quicker and less stressful for the fish.

The jig head is available in a range of colours, allowing anglers to match the hatch, water clarity and light conditions. Colour choice can be used to fine-tune the presentation, whether fishing clear streams, coloured water or varying light levels throughout the day.

With a hook size of 6 and a total length of 2.4 cm, this jig head is intended for small soft plastic lures. It is a practical choice for trout anglers who fish lightweight jig heads and require a strong, sharp hook combined with a dense, compact head.
