Fil Fishing Maggot Ready-Tied Hooks to Nylon 60cm Maggot Bait Hooklengths

Fil Fishing "Maggot" Ready-Tied Hooks are professionally tied hooklengths designed for anglers who want to spend less time on rig preparation and more time fishing. Each hook is hand-tied to a quality nylon line, creating a neat, reliable hooklength that is ready to attach straight from the packet.

The "Maggot" pattern is a sharp, strong hook intended for fishing with maggots and other small baits. The hook point is designed to hold bait securely while still offering reliable hooking potential, making it a practical choice for match-style and general coarse fishing where speed and efficiency matter.

Each hooklength is tied to a 60 cm length of quality nylon, giving a sensible balance between natural bait presentation and a degree of separation from the main line. This length is well suited to float and light leger presentations on stillwaters and rivers, where a delicate, tangle-free hooklength can make a real difference to bite conversion.

The hooks are supplied in a packet of 10 ready-tied hooklengths, so you can keep several rigs prepared and simply replace a hooklength when needed. This is particularly useful during matches or short sessions when re-tying by hand would cost valuable fishing time.

The range covers several hook sizes to suit different bait sizes and target fish. The available options are:

• Size 8 – tied to 0.18 mm nylon
• Size 10 – tied to 0.16 mm nylon
• Size 12 – tied to 0.14 mm nylon
• Size 14 – tied to 0.14 mm nylon
• Size 16 – tied to 0.14 mm nylon

This selection allows you to match the hook size to the bait and the fishing situation, from larger maggot baits on size 8 down to finer presentations on size 16. The finer nylon diameters on the smaller sizes help maintain a natural presentation when fishing clear or pressured waters.

Whether you are fishing a float on a commercial fishery, running a light feeder rig, or simply want dependable ready-tied hooks in your box, the Fil Fishing "Maggot" hooklengths offer a convenient, time-saving solution.
