Ice Fishing Scoop with Wooden Handle 34cm Metal Ice Skimmer for Ice Holes

Ice Fishing Scoop with Wooden Handle is a sturdy, metal-bladed scoop designed for clearing ice from drilled holes during winter fishing sessions. This practical tool is an essential part of any ice angler's kit, allowing you to keep the hole clean and free of slush so that your bait and rig can be presented properly.

The scoop is made from thick metal sheet, giving it the weight and rigidity needed to break through thin surface ice and push aside slush effectively. The wooden handle provides a comfortable, secure grip even when your hands are cold or wet, and it offers a traditional feel that many winter anglers prefer over plastic alternatives.

One side of the scoop features a serrated edge. This toothed section is designed to help chop away frozen or partially refrozen ice around the rim of the hole. When temperatures drop and the surface begins to glaze over, the serrated side lets you reopen the hole quickly without needing a separate ice chisel.

With an overall length of 34 cm, the scoop is long enough to reach comfortably into a drilled hole while remaining compact enough to carry in a bucket or tackle bag. The metal blade is wide enough to remove a good amount of slush with each scoop, reducing the time spent clearing the hole and allowing more time for actual fishing.

Keeping the hole clean is important in winter fishing. Slush and ice fragments can interfere with float presentation, tangle line, and obscure bite indication. A dedicated scoop like this helps you maintain a clear, fishable hole throughout the session, which is especially useful when targeting species such as perch, roach, bream and pike through the ice.

This ice scoop is a straightforward, durable tool with no unnecessary complexity. It is suitable for anglers who fish on frozen lakes, ponds, canals and slow-moving rivers during the winter months. Whether you are a beginner setting up your first ice fishing kit or an experienced angler replacing a worn scoop, this model offers reliable performance at a sensible price.
