Winter Ice Fishing Rod Balalaika 25cm 17g Fibreglass Ice Rod with Reel

Winter Ice Fishing Rod "Balalaika" is a very lightweight ice fishing rod designed for anglers who demand sensitivity and reliability when fishing through the ice. Its compact 25 cm length and low weight of just 17 g make it an ideal companion for mobile ice fishing sessions where every gram and every movement counts.

The handle is made from cold-resistant foam and features a convex shape that sits comfortably in the hand, even in freezing conditions. This ergonomic design helps maintain a secure grip during long periods of jigging and reduces hand fatigue, allowing you to focus on detecting even the most delicate bites.

The rod is equipped with a thin, sensitive fibreglass blank that transmits vibrations and bites clearly. An additional guide ring positioned in the middle of the rod helps keep the line aligned and prevents tangling, which is especially useful when fishing with light lines and small lures in cold weather.

The reel features an interior coated with a special cold-resistant silicone, ensuring reliable operation in sub-zero temperatures. Inside the reel, Lavsan (PET) spacers provide smooth and consistent rotation, so you can retrieve line without jerking or resistance. This construction helps maintain smooth performance even when the reel is exposed to frost and ice.

When fitted with a strike indicator (sarger), this rod performs excellently with a variety of small jigs and spoons (avizėlės), making it suitable for targeting perch, roach, ruffe and other small to medium-sized fish commonly found under the ice. The balanced combination of a lightweight blank, sensitive tip and smooth reel makes it a practical choice for both beginners and experienced ice anglers.

The rod is available in three colours: Red, Blue and Yellow, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your preference or fishing conditions.
