Akara Ice Jigger PT 23 10g 50mm Ice Fishing Lure for Perch Pike Zander

Akara Ice Jigger PT 23 is a well-balanced and highly effective ice fishing lure that closely resembles a small baitfish. Its compact profile and carefully tuned balance make it a reliable choice for tempting predatory fish beneath the ice, whether you are targeting perch, pike, zander or other species.

The lure is built around a slim, fish-like body that gives it a natural appearance in the water. This realistic silhouette helps trigger the predatory instincts of fish that are actively hunting small prey, making the Ice Jigger PT 23 a useful addition to any ice angler's tackle box.

Hook configuration is a key part of the design. The lure is fitted with two single hooks at either end, supplied as WMC or Maruto options, and a single treble hook in the middle complete with a bead. This arrangement provides multiple hooking points along the body, which can improve hook-up rates when fish strike at different parts of the lure.

The central treble hook with its bead also adds a small visual and reflective detail, which can help attract attention in the often dim light conditions found under the ice. The combination of single hooks and a treble gives the angler a versatile setup that covers both head and tail strikes.

Weighing 10 g and measuring 50 mm in length, the Ice Jigger PT 23 is a compact lure that sinks quickly and can be worked with short, sharp jigging motions. Its weight makes it suitable for fishing at various depths, while the balanced body helps it flutter and dart in a way that mimics a wounded or fleeing baitfish.

This lure is particularly well suited to vertical jigging through an ice hole, a technique where balance and control are essential. The Ice Jigger PT 23 responds well to subtle rod tip movements, allowing you to impart lifelike action without overworking the lure.

Whether you are fishing a local lake, pond or reservoir during the winter months, the Akara Ice Jigger PT 23 offers a practical and effective presentation for a range of predatory species. Its combination of realistic looks, balanced action and multi-hook setup makes it a strong performer in cold-water conditions.
