Pro FL Rubber Mesh Keepnet 4m 50x40cm Coarse Fishing Landing Net

Pro FL Rubber Mesh Keepnet 4m is a specialist fish-retaining net designed for the welfare of the catch and the convenience of the angler. The rubberised mesh is the defining feature of this keepnet, and it is what sets it apart from traditional nylon or knotless mesh designs.

The rubber coating on the mesh means the net does not retain fish odours. After a session, the net can be rinsed easily and dries quickly, which helps to keep your tackle bag fresh and reduces the risk of smells transferring to other equipment. This is a practical benefit for anglers who fish regularly and want their gear to stay in good condition between trips.

Because the mesh is rubberised, it is also gentler on the fish. The soft rubber surface helps to protect the fish's protective slime layer and reduces the risk of scale damage or fin abrasion during retention. As a result, fish tend to remain lively and in better condition for longer while inside the net, which is important for catch-and-release fishing and for match anglers who need their catch to stay healthy until weigh-in.

The frame is constructed from reinforced aluminium, giving the keepnet a strong and durable structure while keeping the overall weight manageable. The aluminium frame resists corrosion and is well suited to regular use in freshwater environments.

The net features a square mesh design. This shape is significant because it does not create the same resistance to water flow as some other mesh patterns. In moving water, the square mesh allows the current to pass through more freely, so the net is not pushed or distorted by the flow. This makes the keepnet particularly well suited to river fishing, where a stable and well-positioned net is essential.

With a length of 4 m and a width of 50 x 40 cm, this keepnet offers a generous retaining area. The 4 m length allows the net to be positioned effectively in a range of swims, while the 50 x 40 cm width provides ample space for holding fish comfortably.

This keepnet is suitable for coarse fishing and match fishing situations where fish welfare and gear hygiene are priorities. The combination of rubberised mesh, reinforced aluminium frame and square mesh construction makes it a practical choice for anglers who fish rivers as well as stillwaters.
