Savage Gear Pro Folding Rubber Mesh Landing Net L XL Aluminium Handle

Savage Gear Pro Folding Rubber Mesh Landing Net is a purpose-built landing net for anglers who want a reliable, easy-to-handle tool that performs well on the bank and packs down neatly between sessions. It combines a large rubber-coated mesh with a sturdy aluminium handle, making it a practical choice for a wide range of freshwater and light saltwater fishing situations.

The net is built around a large rubber mesh that is both lightweight and easy to rinse clean. The rubberised coating helps reduce hook tangles and makes it simpler to release fish back into the water with minimal handling. Because the mesh is smooth and non-absorbent, it does not become heavy with water and dries quickly after use, which is a real advantage when you are moving between swims or fishing in wet conditions.

The handle is ergonomic, non-slip and made from aluminium. This gives the net a solid, dependable feel in the hand while keeping the overall weight manageable. The handle extends smoothly and locks securely, so you can reach fish at distance without the net feeling unstable. When the session is over, the handle retracts easily for compact storage and transport.

A key feature of this landing net is its folding head. The frame folds down quickly, allowing the net to be stored in a rod bag, rucksack or car boot without taking up unnecessary space. This makes it particularly suitable for mobile anglers, roving sessions and trips where space is limited. Despite the folding design, the head remains rigid and stable when opened for use.

The Savage Gear Pro Folding Rubber Mesh Landing Net is available in two sizes to suit different fishing styles and target species. The L size measures 65 x 50 cm, while the XL size measures 70 x 85 cm. The L version is well suited to general coarse and predator fishing where a compact net is preferred, while the XL version offers a larger opening for bigger fish and situations where a wider net is an advantage.

In use, the rubber mesh and folding frame make this net a practical option for catch-and-release angling. The smooth mesh helps protect fish slime and reduces stress during unhooking, while the aluminium handle provides the reach and strength needed for confident netting. Whether you are fishing lakes, rivers, canals or light coastal marks, this landing net is designed to be a dependable part of your kit.
