Lunar Baits Hydra Liquid Bait Additive 250ml Spicy Salmon Carp Boilie Dip

Lunar Baits Hydra Liquid Bait Additive 250ml – Spicy Salmon is a liquid bait supplement built on a base of amino acids, flavour enhancers and liquid food particles. It is designed to boost both the attraction and the nutritional value of your bait, while keeping fish feeding confidently on your spot for longer.

The formula works on a dual-action principle: it is rich in proteins and amino acids, so fish respond to it both as a genuine food source and as a powerful attractor. This makes it far more than a simple flavour dip – it actively adds nutritional value to boilies, pellets, hookbaits and groundbait.

Hydra is a medium-viscosity liquid, and its main purpose is to soak into baits, hookbaits and PVA rather than sit on the surface. Unlike thicker, heavier liquids, it stays active inside the bait for longer, but it needs time to work – allow at least 10 to 30 minutes for full absorption before fishing.

The flavour profile is spicy salmon with sharp pepper notes. The strong aroma and very spicy character make it particularly effective for reinforcing bait flavour when fishing over silty or muddy bottoms, and for match and competition-style angling where a strong, persistent attraction is needed.

How to use: pour 30–50 ml of the liquid into a mix of crushed boilies and pellets, or into a loose groundbait, and allow it to soak in. It is not recommended to add it to particles or grains unless you specifically want to unify the flavour of all your baits.

For an extra edge, pre-soak your baits in a liquid solution. Mix Hydra liquid additive with water at a 1:1 ratio and pour it into a bucket containing whole Hydra feed boilies. Leave the boilies to swell in the liquid for 12–24 hours. The boilies soften, absorb the attraction, and once cast in they are less likely to pick up the smell of the bottom or silt.

Hydra liquid additive is also excellent for long-term bait conditioning. Take a clean bait tub, add Hydra protein pellets (15 mm) or Hydra wafter balanced hookbaits, pour over the Hydra additive and leave to soak for an extended period – soaking for 3 months or more is possible. Baits prepared this way are especially suited to night fishing or periods when fish are feeding very cautiously.

For the best results, combine this additive with other products from the Hydra range: Hydra feed protein pellets, soluble boilies and Hydra hookbaits. Shake well before use.
