Pro FL Sliding Float 3-5g Balsa Pole Float Coarse Fishing Floats Tackle

Pro FL Sliding Float 3-5g is a balsa-bodied sliding float designed for float fishing with a pole or float rod. Its sliding design allows the float to be fished at depth, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of coarse fishing situations.

The float is made from balsa, a lightweight and buoyant natural material that is widely used in float making. Balsa offers good buoyancy and a responsive bite indication, which is useful when fishing for shy-biting species or when you need to detect subtle takes.

As a sliding float, it is not fixed to the line in the same way as a standard waggler or stick float. Instead, it slides along the main line between a stop knot and a bead, allowing you to fish at greater depths than the rod length would normally allow. This makes it suitable for deeper swims, margins, and venues where fish are holding well below the surface.

The float is available in two weights: 3g and 5g. The 3g version is a good choice for calmer conditions and closer-range fishing, while the 5g version offers more weight for casting and for holding in slightly more turbulent water. Both weights are supplied with the relevant product references for easy identification.

This float is intended for float fishing with a pole or float rod. It can be used with a range of baits and presentations, depending on the venue and the species present. As with any float, correct shotting and depth adjustment are important to get the best presentation and bite indication.

Whether you are fishing a commercial fishery, a canal, or a natural lake, the Pro FL Sliding Float offers a simple and effective way to present a bait at depth. Its balsa construction and sliding design make it a practical addition to a coarse angler's float box.
