Pro FL Sliding Float 3g 4g Balsa Coarse Fishing Pole Float

Pro FL Sliding Float is a purpose-built balsa float designed for float fishing with a pole or running line. The sliding design allows the float to travel freely along the main line, making it ideal for fishing at depth or in swims where a fixed float would be impractical.

Manufactured from balsa wood, this float offers the natural buoyancy and sensitivity that balsa is renowned for. Balsa is a traditional float-making material, valued by anglers for its light weight and responsive bite indication. The float sits correctly in the water and registers even subtle bites from cautious fish.

The sliding configuration means the float can be set to any depth by adjusting a float stop on the main line. This makes it a versatile choice for stillwaters, canals and slow-moving rivers where fish are feeding at depth or where the swim requires a longer drop.

Available in two weight options – 3g and 4g – this float can be matched to the conditions and the size of bait being presented. The 3g version suits lighter presentations and calmer conditions, while the 4g version offers additional casting weight and stability in wind or when fishing slightly further out.

This float is suitable for a wide range of coarse fishing applications, including pole fishing, waggler-style fishing and general float work on commercial fisheries and natural venues. It is a practical addition to any angler's float box.
