Pro FL Sliding Float 2g 4g Balsa Pole Float Coarse Fishing Tackle

Pro FL Sliding Float is a classic balsa-bodied float designed for float fishing with a rod and reel. Its sliding design allows the float to be fished at depth, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of coarse fishing situations.

Manufactured from balsa wood, this float offers the natural buoyancy and sensitivity that balsa is known for. Balsa is a traditional float-making material that provides a good balance between visibility and subtle bite indication, making it suitable for both still and moving water.

The sliding float design means the line runs freely through the float, allowing you to fish at greater depths than a fixed float would permit. This makes it particularly useful when targeting fish that are feeding well below the surface, or when fishing in deeper swims where a standard waggler or stick float would be impractical.

This float is available in two weight options: 2g and 4g. The 2g version is well suited to lighter presentations and calmer conditions, while the 4g version offers greater casting weight and stability in windier weather or when fishing at longer range. Both weights are designed to be attached using a float stop or bead, allowing quick depth adjustment.

As a classic model, this float follows a traditional pattern that has proven effective for generations of anglers. It is suitable for use with a wide variety of baits, including maggots, casters, worms and sweetcorn, making it a practical addition to any coarse angler's tackle box.

Whether you are fishing a commercial fishery, a canal, a river or a natural lake, the Pro FL Sliding Float provides a reliable and adaptable presentation option. Its balsa construction and sliding design make it a useful choice for anglers who want flexibility in depth and a natural bait presentation.
