GURU SMWG Bait Bands Ready-Tied Hair Rigs Method Feeder Hooks 12 14

GURU SMWG Bait Bands are ready-tied hooklengths built around the proven SMWG hook pattern and designed specifically for method feeder fishing. Each rig arrives pre-tied and ready to fish, so you can attach it to your main line and get straight back out to the swim without spending time at the bank tying hair rigs by hand.

The SMWG hook is a wide gape pattern that has become a firm favourite with method feeder anglers. Its broad gape and curved shank help the hook to turn and take hold once a fish picks up the bait, while the bait band presentation keeps pellets, boilies and other hard baits sitting neatly on the hair. This makes the rigs particularly effective when fishing expander pellets, hard pellets or small boilies over a method feeder.

Each hooklength is tied using GURU N-Gauge monofilament, a high-quality line chosen for its strength, suppleness and reliability. The knots are tied cleanly and consistently, giving you confidence that the rig will perform when it matters. Because the rigs are tied to a consistent standard, you get repeatable presentation cast after cast.

These rigs are ideal for use with GURU Hybrid feeders, pellet feeders and other method feeders. The bait band presentation is well suited to waters where fish are feeding confidently on pellets, and the ready-tied format makes them a practical choice for both match and pleasure anglers who want to maximise their time fishing rather than tying.

The hooklengths are available in two sizes to suit different baits and conditions. The size 12 rig is tied with 0.22 mm N-Gauge line and has a breaking strain of up to 9 lb, making it a good choice when you expect bigger fish or want a bit more strength in the rig. The size 14 rig is tied with 0.19 mm line and has a breaking strain of up to 7 lb, offering a finer, more discreet presentation for pressured fish or clearer venues.

Both sizes are supplied ready-tied and are simple to loop to your main line or method feeder setup. Whether you are targeting carp, F1s or other commercial fishery species, these GURU SMWG Bait Band rigs give you a reliable, well-presented hookbait that is ready to fish straight from the packet.
