Preston Bayonets Boilie Stops for Method Feeder & Carp Fishing 20pcs

Preston Bayonets are precision-made boilie stops designed for the convenient and secure attachment of boilies and other hookbaits. These lightweight bayonets are an essential terminal tackle item for anglers who demand reliability and finesse from their rig presentation.

Manufactured by Preston Innovations, a brand synonymous with quality match and coarse fishing tackle, these bayonets are engineered to be exceptionally light. This low weight is a crucial advantage, as it minimises the impact on the buoyancy of your chosen bait. Whether you are using a critically balanced pop-up or a bottom bait, the minimal mass of the bayonet ensures the bait behaves as naturally as possible in the water, preserving its intended presentation.

The primary function of these bayonets is to provide a secure mounting point for boilies. The sharp, needle-like point allows you to easily pierce the bait, while the barbed design ensures it stays firmly in place, even during aggressive casts or when being investigated by fish. This secure hold prevents your bait from being flicked off the hair or rig, giving you confidence that your rig is presented correctly every time.

These bayonets are particularly suited for Method Feeder fishing. In this technique, the bait is often presented on a short hair or directly on the hook, and a reliable bait stop is essential. The Preston Bayonets are also an excellent choice for carp fishing, especially when using a single bait approach. Their discreet profile and secure grip make them ideal for targeting wary carp in a variety of venues.

Each pack contains 20 bayonets, providing excellent value and ensuring you have a plentiful supply for multiple rigs and sessions. Their fine gauge and sharp point make them easy to use with a wide range of boilie sizes, from small 8mm pop-ups to larger 15mm bottom baits.

For anglers looking to refine their rig mechanics, these bayonets offer a simple yet effective solution. By eliminating the need for traditional hair stops or bait screws, they streamline the rig-building process and offer a very neat presentation. The lightweight construction is a key feature, ensuring that the bait's natural buoyancy is not compromised, which is vital for effective pop-up and wafter presentations.

In summary, the Preston Bayonets are a small but vital component for any serious angler's tackle box. They combine the trusted quality of Preston Innovations with a design focused on practicality, security, and minimal impact on bait presentation. Ideal for Method Feeder and carp fishing, they are a must-have for creating effective, reliable rigs.
