Akara Trout Time Rex 5cm – Cheese is a soft plastic lure developed specifically for trout anglers who demand a bait that keeps performing when conditions turn difficult. Its ribbed, segmented body gives the lure an aggressive, lively action in the water, creating strong vibrations and visual disturbance that predatory fish find hard to ignore.

The powerful cheese scent is one of the defining features of this lure. Because the aroma is released into the water, it can draw the attention of trout even when they are not actively feeding, encouraging tentative fish to investigate and commit. This makes the Trout Time Rex a useful option on pressured waters where fish have seen plenty of standard lures.

Colour and scent work together in this lure. The combination is particularly effective in cold and coloured water, where trout rely more heavily on scent and vibration than on clear visual cues. In these conditions a scented soft bait often outperforms a plain lure, and the Trout Time Rex is designed with exactly that scenario in mind.

The lure is recommended for use with jig heads or single hooks, giving anglers flexibility in how they present it. Rigged on a jig head it can be worked along the bottom or hopped through the water column; fished on a single hook it can be presented more subtly, for example under a float or on a light split-shot rig. This versatility makes it suitable for a range of trout fishing approaches.

High-quality materials and carefully selected flavours help the lure stay attractive for longer, even when other baits begin to lose their effectiveness. The soft plastic body holds its shape and its scent, so the lure continues to fish well through repeated casts and retrieves.

Although designed with trout in mind, the Akara Trout Time Rex is also effective for other predatory fish, making it a practical addition to a general predator angler's box as well as a dedicated trout lure.

The lure measures 5 cm in length and is supplied in a box of 10 pieces, giving anglers a good stock of a proven pattern. It is available in a range of colours to suit different waters and light conditions.

Akara Trout Time Dolly 4.5cm Shrimp Scent Soft Lure (10 Pack) is a ribbed soft plastic bait developed for trout and light predator fishing. Its segmented, ribbed body creates aggressive vibration in the water, helping to trigger strikes even from trout that are not actively feeding. Supplied in a pack of ten, it is a practical choice for anglers who want a reliable, scent-enhanced soft lure for finesse presentations.

The ribbed body design is the defining feature of the Trout Time Dolly. As the lure moves through the water, the ribs generate vibration and subtle water displacement that predatory fish can detect with their lateral line. This makes the bait effective not only when fish are feeding aggressively, but also in tougher conditions when a more subtle trigger is needed.

The strong shrimp scent is a key advantage in cold or murky water, where visual feeding is reduced and fish rely more heavily on smell and taste. The scent encourages fish to hold onto the lure for longer, giving you a better chance of setting the hook. Combined with high-visibility colours, the Dolly remains a strong option when water clarity is poor or when fish are pressured.

Made from high-quality soft plastic materials, the Trout Time Dolly is designed to stay effective for longer than standard soft baits. The material holds its shape and action well, so the lure continues to fish properly after repeated casts and encounters with fish.

The Dolly is versatile in rigging. It can be fished on a jig head for a classic finesse presentation, or on a single hook for a more natural, snag-resistant approach. It is well suited to ultralight setups, where its small 4.5 cm profile and subtle action match light rods, small reels and fine lines.

Although designed with trout in mind, the Akara Trout Time Dolly is also effective for perch, crappie, bass and other light predators. This multi-species appeal makes it a useful addition to a finesse angler's box, covering a range of small to medium predatory fish.

The lure is a great choice for stocked ponds, rivers, creeks and finesse presentations. In stocked stillwaters it can be worked slowly around structure, while in flowing water it can be cast upstream and allowed to swing or retrieved with subtle twitches. Its compact size and scent make it particularly effective in cold-water periods and in venues that receive heavy angling pressure.

Meus Dumbells Wafters Minis 8mm – Strawberry are elongated wafter hookbaits designed specifically for Method Feeder fishing. Their bright colours and intense strawberry aroma make them highly visible and attractive, while the wafter construction delivers a carefully balanced presentation that cautious fish find difficult to ignore.

The key to their effectiveness lies in their neutral buoyancy. Rather than floating aggressively or sitting dead on the bottom, these wafters naturally lift the hook by approximately the length of the hair. This creates a critically balanced presentation in which the hookbait appears light and easy to take, helping to convert more pick-ups into proper hook holds.

The 8mm size is ideal when targeting wary fish or when the fish are feeding on finer, smaller-particle groundbait. A compact hookbait such as this matches well with smaller hook sizes, allowing the hook to be drawn in naturally along with the groundbait released from the Method Feeder.

Because the hookbait is drawn in together with the feed, fish are far less likely to detect the hook, which can significantly improve bite conversion. This makes the Minis version particularly popular with match and competition anglers who need to provoke more bites from pressured or finicky fish.

Supplied in a 15g tub, these wafters are ready to use straight from the pack and are simple to hair-rig or mount on a bait band. The strawberry flavour provides a strong, sweet scent trail that works well in a wide range of stillwater and commercial fishery situations.

Meus Dumbells Pop Up - elongated Pop Up dumbells, which are distinguished by their strong aroma and colour, are quickly detected by fish and attract them. The aroma of the bait spreads very far and attracts catches from long distances.

Size - 8mm
Taste - Lemon Shock

Meus Dumbells Wafters Minis 8mm – Lemon Shock are elongated wafter hookbaits designed specifically for Method Feeder fishing. Their bright colour and intense citrus aroma make them a highly visible and attractive offering, while the neutral buoyancy allows the hookbait to sit naturally and lift the hook only by the length of the hair.

The wafter presentation is one of the key advantages of this bait. Because it is neutrally buoyant, it counteracts the weight of the hook, so the hookbait appears light and easy for fish to take. This can lead to more confident bites and improved hooking efficiency, especially when fish are cautious or feeding selectively.

The 8mm size is ideal for targeting wary fish or when the fish are feeding on a finer fraction of groundbait. A smaller hookbait is less likely to arouse suspicion and can be particularly effective when fish are pressured or feeding cautiously. The compact size also pairs well with smaller hooks, allowing the bait to be taken naturally along with the groundbait around the Method Feeder.

These wafters are especially valued by match anglers who need to provoke more bites and maximise their catch rate. The bright Lemon Shock colour provides excellent visual attraction, while the citrus fruit flavour adds a strong scent trail that can draw fish into the swim and encourage them to feed.

Each tub contains 15g of wafters, giving you a generous supply for multiple sessions. The elongated dumbell shape helps the bait sit securely on the hair and resist being pulled off by smaller fish or during the cast.

Akara Trout Time Dolly 4.5cm – Cheese is a soft plastic lure developed specifically for trout anglers who need a bait that keeps working when fish are reluctant to feed. Its ribbed, segmented body gives the lure a lively, aggressive action in the water, creating vibration and movement that trout can detect even in low visibility.

The strong cheese scent is a key part of the Dolly's appeal. Trout rely heavily on smell and taste, particularly in cold, coloured or heavily fished water where sight feeding is limited. The intense aroma encourages fish to hold on to the lure for longer, which gives you a better chance of setting the hook cleanly.

The colour and scent combination is designed to attract trout even in cold and murky conditions, when many other lures lose their effectiveness. This makes the Dolly a useful option for early season sessions, winter fishing and rivers carrying a little colour after rain.

The lure is recommended for use with JIG heads or single hooks, giving you flexibility in how you present it. Rigged on a jig head it can be worked along the bottom or hopped through the water column; fished on a single hook it can be used as a trailer or fished slowly on a light setup.

Akara uses high-quality materials and carefully selected flavours in the Trout Time range. This helps the lure stay attractive for longer, even when other baits have stopped producing bites. The soft plastic body is durable enough to withstand repeated casts and takes from small trout.

Although the Dolly is built around trout fishing, it is also effective for other predatory fish that respond to scent and movement. Perch, chub and similar species will readily take this lure when it is presented naturally.

Each box contains 10 lures, giving you a good stock of a proven pattern. The lure measures 4.5cm in length, a compact size that suits a wide range of trout waters, from small streams to larger rivers and stillwaters.

Akara Trout Time Rex 6.3cm Shrimp is a soft plastic lure developed specifically for trout fishing, combining a distinctive ribbed body profile with a strong shrimp scent to tempt even the most cautious fish. Whether you are working a small stream, a stocked stillwater or a cold, coloured river, this lure is designed to keep performing when other baits stop producing bites.

The ribbed, segmented body is the key to the Rex's action. As the lure moves through the water, the pronounced ridges create an aggressive, vibrating movement that displaces water and appeals to the predatory instincts of trout. This lively action is effective at a range of retrieve speeds, from a slow, steady crank to a more erratic twitch-and-pause presentation.

What really sets the Trout Time Rex apart is its intense shrimp aroma. The scent is built into the lure rather than simply coated on the surface, so it continues to release attraction as the lure is worked. This is particularly valuable when trout are not actively feeding, when the water is cold, or when visibility is poor. In cold and coloured water, trout rely heavily on scent and vibration to locate prey, and the combination of the Rex's aroma and ribbed action gives you a genuine edge in these difficult conditions.

The lure is made from high-quality soft plastic materials with carefully selected flavourings, which helps it stay attractive for longer and resist drying out or losing its scent after repeated casts. This durability means you can keep fishing with confidence even when other soft lures have lost their appeal.

The Akara Trout Time Rex is recommended for use with JIG heads or single hooks, giving you flexibility in how you present it. Rigged on a JIG head it can be fished along the bottom or hopped through the water column; rigged on a single hook it works well as a finesse presentation for pressured fish. The 6.3cm length is a versatile size that suits both smaller resident trout and larger stocked fish.

Although designed with trout in mind, this lure is also effective for other predatory fish, making it a useful addition to any predator angler's box. It is supplied in a box of 10 lures, so you have plenty of spares for a full session or for sharing with a fishing partner.
