Akara Trout Time Rex 6.3cm Cheese Soft Lure Trout Fishing Bait Jig 10pcs

Akara Trout Time Rex 6.3cm – Cheese is a soft plastic lure developed specifically for trout fishing, and its ribbed body gives it a distinctly aggressive action in the water. Rather than simply gliding passively, the lure displaces water and creates vibration as it is retrieved, which helps it stand out in the eyes of predatory fish.

One of the defining features of this lure is its very strong scent. The intense aroma is designed to attract trout even when they are not actively feeding, encouraging tentative fish to hold on to the bait for longer. This is particularly useful on pressured waters or on days when fish are reluctant to commit.

The combination of colour and scent is especially effective in cold and murky water. In low visibility, when sight feeding is limited, the scent trail and the lure's profile work together to help trout locate the bait. This makes the Trout Time Rex a practical choice for early season sessions, coloured rivers after rain, or deep, cold stillwaters.

The lure is recommended for use with JIG heads or single hooks. Rigged on a jig head it can be worked along the bottom or hopped through the water column, while a single hook setup is well suited to lighter presentations. The ribbed body remains flexible and continues to produce action at slow retrieve speeds.

Akara has used high-quality materials and carefully selected flavours in the construction of this lure. This helps it remain attractive for longer, even when other baits begin to lose their effectiveness after repeated casts or extended time in the water.

Although designed with trout in mind, the Trout Time Rex is a versatile soft lure that also appeals to other predatory fish. It can be used in rivers, streams, canals and stillwaters where trout and similar species are present.

The lure measures 6.3 cm and is supplied in a box of 10 pieces. The Cheese scent variant is available in several colour options, allowing anglers to match the lure to the water clarity and light conditions of the day.
