Preston ICS Long Elasticated Stem Kit Method Feeder Elastic 8.5cm 2pc

Preston ICS Long Elasticated Stem Kit is a specialised elasticated stem kit designed for use with Method feeders. This innovative accessory is fitted inside the feeder stem, providing a reliable and efficient way to manage fish strikes and improve landing rates.

The kit features a high-quality elastic that is threaded through the stem of the feeder. When a fish takes the bait and pulls against the rig, the elastic stretches to absorb the initial shock and powerful runs. This shock-absorbing action helps to prevent hook pulls and reduces the risk of the hooklink breaking under sudden pressure, especially when fishing with lighter lines or for hard-fighting fish.

By cushioning the fight, the elastic also makes it easier to play and land fish. The stretch of the elastic acts as a buffer, giving you more control and reducing the chance of the hook tearing free. This is particularly useful when targeting species such as carp, F1s, and other commercial fishery favourites that can be aggressive on the take.

The kit is designed to fit inside the feeder stem, keeping the rig neat and tangle-free. The elastic is long enough to provide ample stretch for effective shock absorption, yet compact enough to fit standard Method feeder stems. Each pack contains 2 elasticated stems, giving you spares or the option to set up multiple rods.

With a length of 8.5cm, these stems are suitable for a wide range of Method feeder setups. They are easy to install and replace, making them a practical addition to your tackle box. Whether you are a match angler or a pleasure angler, the Preston ICS Long Elasticated Stem Kit offers a simple yet effective solution for improving your Method feeder fishing.
