Salmo Elite Perch 55cm Ice Fishing Rod Solid Tip T24 Graphite Winter Rod

Salmo Elite Perch is a one-piece, lightweight and sensitive ice fishing rod designed for vertical jigging with spoons, balance lures and other vertical presentation baits. Its compact 55 cm length makes it ideal for fishing through the ice, where precise control and immediate bite detection are essential.

The blank is constructed from Solid Tip T24 graphite, a material combination that delivers a responsive and durable rod suitable for the demands of winter fishing. The solid tip section provides a sensitive indication of even cautious bites, while the T24 graphite construction keeps the rod light in the hand during extended jigging sessions.

The rod features a medium-stiff action, offering a balanced compromise between sensitivity and sufficient backbone for setting hooks and controlling fish in cold conditions. This action is well suited to vertical jigging techniques where the angler needs to feel the lure and react quickly to subtle takes.

Equipped with stainless steel guides, the rod is built to withstand the corrosive effects of ice, snow and moisture. The reel is secured using cold-resistant plastic rings, ensuring a reliable hold even in sub-zero temperatures. A cork handle provides a comfortable, secure grip that remains warm to the touch and offers good control during jigging.

For added practicality, the rod includes a wire loop for attaching lures, allowing the angler to store the bait securely when moving between holes or packing away. This simple but useful feature helps prevent tangles and keeps the lure ready for the next drop.

With a length of 55 cm and a weight of just 46 g, the Salmo Elite Perch is a compact and portable ice fishing rod that is easy to carry and handle. It is a suitable choice for anglers targeting perch and other predatory fish through the ice using vertical jigging methods.
