ZipBaits Rigge Deep 70SP 5.3g Suspending Crankbait Lure Trout Salmon 7cm

ZipBaits Rigge Deep 70SP is a suspending crankbait designed for anglers who need to reach deeper water and trigger reaction strikes from predatory fish. Its large, wide diving lip forces the lure down quickly and gives it a tight, energetic wobble that fish find hard to ignore.

The suspending (neutral buoyancy) action is a key feature of this lure. When you pause the retrieve, the Rigge Deep 70SP stays at the depth it has reached instead of floating up or sinking. This gives fish a chance to close in and take the lure during the pause, which is often when the most confident bites occur.

The wide lip and deep-diving design make this lure particularly effective for upstream fishing — casting across or downstream and retrieving against the current. As it works through the flow, the lure kicks up small clouds of silt and sediment from the bottom, mimicking a small fish or creature rooting around on the riverbed. This visual and vibration signal is exactly what hungry predators are looking for.

Measuring 7 cm and weighing 5.3 g, the Rigge Deep 70SP is a compact yet heavy-enough lure for accurate casting in rivers and streams. It dives to between 1.2 m and 1.8 m, putting it in the strike zone for fish holding near the bottom without constantly snagging.

This lure has proven successful for sea trout, chub, salmon and large brown trout. Whether you are targeting migratory fish in a flowing river or resident trout in a deeper pool, the Rigge Deep 70SP gives you the depth control and natural presentation needed to tempt cautious predators.

Available in a range of proven colour patterns, including 050, 432, 486, 600, 811, 824, 851 and 857. Choose the colour that best matches the natural baitfish or the water clarity on your venue.
