Jackall Timon Tricoroll 67S 5g Sinking Trout Salmon Lure for Rivers

Jackall Timon Tricoroll 67S is a premium sinking minnow lure produced by the renowned Japanese tackle manufacturer Jackall. Designed primarily for targeting all salmonid species in flowing water, this compact 67 mm lure has earned a strong reputation among river anglers for its ability to perform in demanding current conditions.

The flat-sided body profile combined with Jackall's original, carefully engineered balancing system allows the Timon Tricoroll 67S to hold its position and track correctly even in strong currents. This stability is a key advantage when fishing fast-flowing rivers where many lures tend to tumble or lose their action. The internal weighting also contributes to impressive casting distance for a lure of this size, helping anglers reach fish holding in mid-river lies or across wider channels.

In terms of action, the Tricoroll 67S performs well under two distinct retrieves. On a steady retrieve it produces a pronounced wobbling and rolling motion, flashing its flanks and creating strong visual attraction. When worked with a twitching or jerking technique, it responds with sharp, erratic darting movements that can trigger reaction strikes from following fish. This versatility makes it a useful lure to carry for a range of situations, from searching open water to targeting fish holding tight to structure.

Although primarily intended for trout, sea trout and salmon, the Timon Tricoroll 67S is also a capable lure for other predatory species. Pike, zander, perch and chub will readily take this lure when it is presented in the right conditions, making it a versatile addition to a freshwater lure box.

The sinking construction allows the lure to be fished at depth and to be worked through the water column with controlled sink rates. With a diving depth of approximately 0.5 to 1 metre, it is well suited to shallow to medium-depth river sections, runs and pools where salmonids are actively feeding.

Available in a wide range of proven colour patterns, including trout, yamame, ayu and baitfish imitations, the Tricoroll 67S can be matched to the water clarity, light conditions and natural forage of the venue being fished.
