Lucky John Pro Silver Shiner 88S Sinking Minnow Lure 8.8cm 14g Pike Perch Zander

Lucky John Pro Silver Shiner 88S is a sinking minnow-class lure developed by Lucky John for fishing in strong and medium currents. With its unusual, exceptionally smooth curve running from the front of the lip all the way to the tail, this lure is built to perform in flowing water while remaining equally effective in still water.

The body geometry is central to the Pro Silver Shiner's character. The patented Magnetic Casting System (MCS) works together with the shape of the body to deliver outstanding casting performance. A broad back and evenly tapered flanks not only improve aerodynamics during the cast but also make the lure easier to animate, even when fishing in strong currents.

Finished with aggressive eyes, high-quality treble hooks and a subtle imitation of fine scales across the body, the Pro Silver Shiner 88S is a convincing target for pike, zander, perch, chub and salmon. Despite being designed with current in mind, it also performs well in still water, making it a versatile addition to a predator angler's lure box.

At 8.8 cm and 14 g, the 88S is a compact sinking minnow that can be worked at a controlled depth. The recommended retrieve depth is 0.5 to 2.5 m, allowing anglers to search different layers of the water column depending on conditions and the activity of the fish.

The sinking nature of the lure means it can be fished slowly and deliberately, counted down to reach the desired depth, or retrieved with twitches and pauses to trigger reaction bites. In current, the broad back and tapered flanks help the lure hold its action rather than being pushed out of balance.

The Pro Silver Shiner 88S is available in a range of colour options, giving anglers the chance to match the hatch or choose a high-visibility pattern for coloured water. Whether targeting pike in a river, zander in a deep pool or perch along a current seam, this lure is designed to cover water efficiently.
