Pro FL Velocity Minnow 80S 11g Sinking Lure for Salmon, Trout & Pike

Pro FL Velocity Minnow 80S 11g is a high-quality, durable sinking minnow lure built for serious predator fishing. Developed with salmon fishing in mind, it also performs exceptionally well for trout and pike, making it a versatile addition to any lure angler's box.

The lure is designed to work effectively and stay stable in deeper water. Its compact 80 mm body and 11 g weight allow it to be fished with control, while the sinking action helps it reach and hold the desired depth. In the water the Velocity Minnow wobbles and rolls slightly from side to side, creating a lively, enticing action that triggers reaction strikes from predatory fish.

A medium-sized lip plays an important practical role: it helps deflect the hooks away from snags and bottom obstacles, reducing the chance of the trebles catching on rocks, weed or debris. This makes the lure suitable for working close to structure where predators often lie in wait.

The Pro FL Velocity Minnow 80S is a sinking lure with a swimming depth of 0–1 m, so it can be fished shallow or allowed to sink into the upper layers. It is well suited to rivers, streams and stillwaters where salmon, trout and pike are the target. The lure is available in several colour variants, allowing anglers to match the hatch or choose a high-visibility pattern for different light and water conditions.

Whether you are casting for salmon in a flowing river or targeting pike along the margins, the Velocity Minnow offers a stable, fish-attracting action and a robust build that stands up to repeated use.
