SMITH Camion 32SR 2.5g Floating Crank Lure for Trout Chub Perch Fishing

SMITH Camion 32SR is a compact floating crankbait originally developed by Japanese engineers for area trout fishing, yet its crank-type profile and ability to hold in current make it a highly effective lure for spinning for chub, perch and brown trout as well.

With a length of just 32 mm and a weight of 2.5 g, the Camion 32SR is a true finesse lure. Its small silhouette and light weight make it ideal for ultralight spinning outfits, where it can be cast accurately even in tight swims and around overhanging cover. The floating buoyancy allows the lure to be worked slowly over shallow structure, while the crankbait action delivers a tight, enticing wobble that triggers reaction strikes from predatory fish.

The Camion 32SR dives to between 0.2 m and 0.8 m, making it a versatile choice for fishing shallow runs, riffles and the margins of rivers and streams. Because it holds well in current, it is particularly useful when fishing moving water, where it can be retrieved steadily against the flow without being swept away from the strike zone.

Although designed with area trout in mind, the Camion 32SR has proven itself as a dependable lure for chub, perch and brown trout. Its realistic profile and subtle action appeal to pressured fish, and the floating construction means it can be paused and twitched over shallow features to provoke follows and takes.

The lure is available in a range of proven colour patterns, including #22, #28, #29, #31, LT-10, LT-11, LT-13 and LT-14. This allows anglers to match the hatch or choose a contrasting pattern depending on water clarity and light conditions.

Whether you are targeting trout in a small stream or chub and perch in a river, the SMITH Camion 32SR offers a refined, Japanese-designed presentation that belongs in every ultralight angler's box.
