STEG Soluble Pop Up Smoke Ball 11mm – Strawberry is a high-buoyancy pop-up boilie designed to combine strong visual attraction with a rapid release of flavour and aroma. Once the bait settles on the lakebed, its outer layer begins to soften and gradually break away, creating a colourful, aroma-rich cloud around the hookbait. This dissolving effect makes the bait far more noticeable to feeding fish and encourages a faster response.

The fluorescent colour cloud is a key feature of the Smoke Ball range. As the outer layer breaks down, it releases a bright, highly visible halo of colour that draws the attention of fish from a distance, particularly in coloured or low-visibility water. The colour options in the range have been selected on the basis of recent field testing in both heavily stocked venues and lower-density lakes, where results exceeded expectations.

As a high-buoyancy pop-up, the STEG Smoke Ball lifts both the hook and the bait tip off the bottom, allowing the hookbait to sit clear of the lakebed. This makes it especially effective on venues with a soft silt or mud layer, where a standard bottom bait might sink into the sediment. Instead, the bait floats above the silt and remains actively visible and accessible to passing fish.

The soluble outer layer dissolves considerably faster than earlier generations of STEG boilies. As a result, flavours, attractors and aromas are released more quickly into the water column, giving fish an immediate signal and encouraging a quicker reaction. The combination of fast aroma release and strong visual attraction makes these baits well suited to short sessions and pressured waters alike.

The strawberry flavour provides a proven, sweet fruit profile that works well across a wide range of carp waters. The 11 mm diameter is a versatile size that can be used on a hair rig, balanced with a small piece of fake corn, or presented as a single hookbait. The Smoke Ball range has become popular not only in Hungary but across Europe thanks to its consistently high quality.

Benzar Mix TigAir Nut – N-Butyric is a next-generation, standout bait developed for carp anglers who demand something genuinely different from their hookbaits. Built around the well-known and highly regarded tiger nut, this bait represents the culmination of years of development work by Benzar Mix, resulting in a new technology that sets it apart from conventional tiger nut presentations.

Tiger nuts have long been recognised by carp anglers as one of the most effective and reliable baits available, valued for their natural appeal and the confidence they give when fishing for pressured carp. Benzar Mix has taken this proven base and refined it into a modern, purpose-built hookbait that retains everything that makes tiger nuts so effective while adding a new dimension of performance.

The key innovation behind TigAir Nut lies in its production technology. Benzar Mix spent years perfecting a process that extracts the full moisture content from the tiger nut and transforms the bait into a buoyant, pop-up-style presentation. This allows anglers to present a tiger nut in a way that was previously difficult to achieve, opening up new rig options and presentation possibilities on the lake bed.

Beyond its buoyancy, TigAir Nut is defined by its carefully balanced aroma, flavour and colour profile. The N-Butyric flavour delivers a distinctive butyric acid signature, a scent and taste profile that is widely appreciated in carp fishing for its attractive properties. Combined with the natural appeal of tiger nut, this creates a bait that works on multiple levels – visual, olfactory and gustatory.

Each bait weighs approximately 18 g, giving anglers a consistent, easy-to-handle hookbait that can be presented with confidence. The buoyant nature of the bait makes it suitable for a range of rig presentations, including pop-up and balanced rigs, where a slow-sinking or wafting presentation can be advantageous.

Whether you are fishing over a bed of particles, targeting wary carp in pressured waters, or simply looking for a hookbait that offers something different from the norm, Benzar Mix TigAir Nut – N-Butyric provides a well-considered option. Its combination of proven tiger nut appeal, innovative buoyant technology and a distinctive butyric flavour profile makes it a valuable addition to any carp angler's bait selection.

NGT Aluminium Black Buzz Bar 27cm is a sturdy three-rod buzz bar designed to mount securely onto standard banksticks and rod pods, giving carp and specimen anglers a reliable base for multiple rod set-ups.

The buzz bar is manufactured from aluminium, a material chosen for its combination of low weight and strength. This makes the bar rigid enough to hold several rods steady while remaining easy to transport as part of a compact tackle set-up.

At 27 cm in length, the bar provides enough spacing to accommodate three rod positions, helping to keep lines separated and reducing the chance of tangles when fishing multiple rods at once.

The bar features threaded mounts at the top, allowing bite alarms and rod holders to be screwed directly into place. This creates a tidy, organised set-up where alarms and rod supports sit securely above the buzz bar.

The bar attaches by screwing onto the standard threads found on most banksticks and rod pods, making it a practical addition to existing tackle rather than a dedicated system. This compatibility means it can be used across a range of angling situations, from short day sessions to longer overnight carp trips.

Finished in a black coating, the buzz bar has a discreet appearance that suits most rod pod and bankstick combinations. Its simple, functional design keeps weight down while providing the strength needed to support multiple rods and alarms.
