Winter Spinning Rods

13 Fishing Wicked Ice Rod is a premium-class winter ice fishing spinning rod built from high-grade materials for anglers who demand sensitivity and reliability on the ice. Designed specifically for ice fishing, this rod delivers the responsiveness needed to detect even the subtlest takes in freezing conditions.

The blank is constructed from Toray carbon, a material widely respected in rod building for its favourable strength-to-weight ratio. This allows the rod to remain light in the hand while retaining the backbone required for setting hooks and controlling fish at close quarters. At just 58 g, the Wicked Ice Rod reduces fatigue during long sessions on the ice, where repeated jigging and precise rod-tip control are essential.

Fitted with Evolve Performance guides, the rod is designed to manage line smoothly and reduce friction during retrieves. These guides complement the sensitive carbon blank, helping you feel every knock, tap and strike transmitted through the line. The result is improved bite detection and a more direct connection to your lure.

The rod features an EVOLVE reel seat, which secures the reel firmly and keeps it aligned with the blank for consistent performance. Combined with its modern design, the Wicked Ice Rod offers a balanced, contemporary setup that looks as good as it performs on the ice.

With a length of 71 cm, this rod is well suited to ice fishing situations where compact, manoeuvrable tackle is preferred. The medium-heavy (MH) rating provides a useful balance of sensitivity and power, making it suitable for a range of ice fishing presentations where control and feel are important.

Whether you are targeting perch, zander or other species through the ice, the 13 Fishing Wicked Ice Rod is built to give you the feedback and control needed for a successful day on frozen waters.

Buster 25'' ML Ice Fishing Rod is a lightweight and sensitive ice fishing rod designed for presenting light lures through the ice. With a length of 61 cm and a weight of just 51 g, it is built for anglers who want a compact, responsive setup that remains comfortable to handle during long sessions on frozen waters.

The rod features a comfortable cork handle with a reel seat, providing a secure and natural grip when jigging or working lures vertically. The cork construction helps keep the rod light in the hand while offering a warm, non-slip feel in cold conditions, which is particularly useful when temperatures drop and concentration matters.

A sensitive tip is one of the key characteristics of this model. It is designed to register even subtle takes, helping you react quickly when fish are cautious or when using small presentations. The responsive tip works together with the rod's light overall build to transmit information from the lure directly to your hand.

The rod is fitted with wide guides that support smooth line flow and help reduce friction during retrieves. This is especially beneficial in ice fishing, where line management and reliable lure control are important, particularly when fishing in deeper water or when using balanced jigging lures.

The Buster 25'' ML is suitable for targeting perch, pike and other fish when using a balance jig, a devil lure or other small lures. Its medium-light rating makes it a versatile choice for anglers who want one rod for a range of light ice fishing presentations rather than carrying multiple specialised setups.

With its short 61 cm length, the rod is easy to handle in a shelter or when sitting over a hole, and it packs away conveniently for transport. The combination of low weight, cork handle, sensitive tip and wide guides makes it a practical tool for anglers who value feel and control in winter fishing.

Akara Ice Jig Compact is a highly versatile ice fishing rod featuring an integrated bite indicator, designed for anglers who demand sensitivity and reliability on the ice. Its compact two-piece construction makes it easy to transport and store, while the 70 cm length provides enough reach for precise jigging and hook sets.

The rod is built with an EVA handle that offers a comfortable, secure grip even in cold conditions. The reel is attached using plastic rings, a simple and dependable mounting system that keeps the reel firmly in place without adding unnecessary bulk.

One of the standout features is the integrated bite indicator. Because it is built into the rod, the line cannot snag on protruding parts, allowing for smooth, tangle-free fishing. The indicator is soft enough to register even the most delicate bites, yet the rod itself has a stiff action that ensures a solid hook set when a fish takes the bait.

The rod is fitted with large-diameter guides, and the bite indicator also features large rings. This design helps prevent ice build-up in the guides during cold winter days, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and keeping you fishing for longer.

The second section of the blank is flat and tapering towards the tip, a design that contributes to the rod's overall balance and responsiveness. This rod is ideal for fishing with spoons, balance jigs, and devil jigs. By selecting the appropriate stiffness of the bite indicator, it can also be used as a winter feeder rod or for catching smelt.

With a transport length of just 38 cm and a weight of 45 g, the Akara Ice Jig Compact is a practical choice for mobile ice anglers who need a reliable, packable rod that performs across a range of winter fishing techniques.
