VDE All Round Additive 250g Big Fish Plum Bait Additive for Carp Fishing

VDE All Round Additive 250g – Big Fish is a specialist bait additive developed by Marcel Van Den Eynde for anglers who target larger fish. Its defining characteristic is an exceptionally strong plum aroma, which is designed to give bait a scent profile that appeals to big fish and encourages them to feed with confidence.

The additive is supplied in a 250 g tub, making it a practical size for regular bait preparation. It can be mixed directly into groundbait, stick mixes and other bait blends, or used as a flavouring agent for hookbaits and loose feed. The concentrated plum aroma is intended to lift a bait's attraction in the water and help it stand out among competing feed.

As well as being blended into groundbait, VDE All Round Additive can be used to add extra scent to a range of hookbaits and loose offerings. This includes maggots, casters, pellets and similar baits, allowing anglers to build a consistent flavour profile across the whole swim. Using the same aroma in both feed and hookbait can help create a confident feeding response.

For best results, the additive should be added to dry groundbait before the mix is wetted with water. Alternatively, it can be dissolved in the water used to dampen the groundbait, which helps distribute the aroma evenly through the mix. This flexibility makes it straightforward to use in a variety of bait preparation routines.

The recommended dosage is one 250 g tub to 4–5 kg of dry groundbait. This ratio provides a strong but controlled level of flavouring, allowing the additive to enhance the bait without overwhelming it. Anglers can adjust the amount slightly depending on water temperature, target species and the intensity of aroma required.

With its strong plum scent and versatile application, VDE All Round Additive – Big Fish is a useful addition to the bait box for coarse anglers and carp anglers looking to boost the attraction of their groundbait and hookbaits. It is particularly suited to anglers who want a reliable, easy-to-use flavouring that can be applied to both feed and hookbaits.
