Traper Groundbait 1kg Bream Mix - Sweet & Nut Groundbait for Bream Fishing

Traper Groundbait 1kg Bream Mix is a specialist groundbait developed for targeting bream, combining a rich blend of biscuit and nut flours with liquid molasses additives to create an attractive, highly effective bait mix. Designed for anglers who demand consistent results, this groundbait is formulated to draw bream into the swim and hold them there, making it a reliable choice for both match and pleasure fishing.

The base of this mix features finely milled biscuit and nut flours, which provide a natural, sweet aroma and a texture that bream find highly appealing. The addition of liquid molasses enhances the bait's attraction further, releasing a slow, steady stream of flavour into the water that encourages fish to feed confidently. This combination is particularly effective on venues where bream are pressured or wary, as the molasses helps to mask unnatural scents and creates a competitive feeding response.

To get the best from this groundbait, it should be mixed gradually, adding water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached. Once mixed, passing the groundbait through a sieve ensures even moisture distribution and removes any lumps, resulting in a smooth, consistent mix that breaks down at a controlled rate. This preparation method is especially important for bream fishing, where a fine, evenly textured bed of bait is key to keeping fish in the area without overfeeding them.

For even greater effectiveness, live baits such as maggots, casters or worms can be added to the groundbait. This combination of particle and groundbait creates a highly attractive feeding area that appeals to bream of all sizes. The groundbait acts as a carrier for the live bait, drawing fish in and encouraging them to root around in the swim, which often leads to more confident bites and a higher catch rate.

Supplied in a 1kg bag, this Traper groundbait is ideal for a full session on the bank, whether you are fishing a commercial fishery, a natural lake or a slow-moving river. Its versatile nature means it can be used in a feeder mix, balled in by hand, or cupped in accurately with a pole. The sweet, nutty profile is particularly effective in warmer months, but it can also be used year-round with adjustments to the amount of water and the addition of other additives if required.

Traper is a well-respected name in European coarse fishing, and this groundbait reflects the brand's commitment to quality ingredients and effective formulations. Whether you are a seasoned bream specialist or a newcomer looking for a reliable mix, this groundbait offers a straightforward, effective solution for attracting and catching bream.
