Feeder Bait Mikron Wafters 6mm Tiger Nut Floating Hookbaits for Method Feeder

Feeder Bait Mikron Wafters 6mm – Tiger Nut are highly popular wafter-type hookbaits designed for modern Method Feeder and hair-rig fishing. Their carefully balanced buoyancy makes them rise approximately the length of the hair, yet they do not lift the hook off the lakebed. This semi-buoyant presentation keeps the hookbait sitting naturally just above the bottom, exactly where feeding fish expect to find it.

The wafter format is one of the most effective presentations in contemporary coarse fishing. Because the bait is easily sucked in by fish, it helps ensure the hook finds a secure hold inside the mouth, improving hook-up efficiency compared with heavier bottom baits. The rounded shape of each Mikron Wafter also contributes to this effect, allowing the bait to be taken confidently and cleanly.

These wafters are particularly well suited to Method Feeder fishing. They hold securely on the hair when mounted with a bait band, bait screw or similar hair-rig system, so the bait stays in position during the cast and on the lakebed. This reliability makes them a practical choice for both short sessions and longer carp, F1 and coarse fishing trips.

Available in a range of colours, Mikron Wafters allow anglers to match the bait to the conditions and preferences of the day. Colour selection can be an important part of adapting to changing light, water clarity and feeding behaviour, and having several options in the tackle box gives valuable flexibility on the bank.

The 6mm size is a versatile choice that suits a wide variety of rigs and target species. The Tiger Nut flavour is a proven and widely trusted bait profile in carp and coarse fishing, making these wafters a strong option for anglers who want a dependable, easy-to-use hookbait for Method Feeder work.
