Feeder Bait Mikron Wafters 6mm Sweet Floating Hookbaits for Method Feeder

Feeder Bait Mikron Wafters 6mm – Sweet are highly popular wafter-type hookbaits designed for modern Method Feeder and feeder fishing. Their carefully balanced buoyancy makes them a standout choice for anglers who want a natural, highly attractive presentation that tempts wary fish into taking the hook.

The key characteristic of a wafter is its neutral buoyancy. When mounted on the hair, the bait rises by approximately the length of the hair but does not lift the hook off the bottom. This creates a critically balanced presentation in which the hook remains in a position to prick the fish's mouth as soon as the bait is taken. The result is a bait that is easy for fish to suck in and that supports an effective hook hold.

Each Mikron Wafter has a rounded shape and is produced in two different colours. This colour variation allows you to match the bait to the conditions of the day, switching between shades to find the presentation that triggers the most confident bites. Whether the water is clear or coloured, or the fish are feeding cautiously, having a choice of colours in the box gives you valuable flexibility.

The wafters hold securely when attached with a bait band, a bait screw or another hair rig system, making them well suited to Method Feeder tactics. Their firm yet fish-friendly texture means they stay in place during the cast and on the lakebed, while still being soft enough to be taken confidently by feeding fish.

At 6 mm in size, these wafters are ideal for a wide range of coarse fish and are particularly effective when targeting carp, F1s, bream and tench on commercial fisheries and natural venues alike. The sweet flavour adds an extra dimension of attraction, encouraging fish to hold on to the bait long enough for a positive hook set.

Supplied in a convenient 6 mm size with a sweet flavour profile, Feeder Bait Mikron Wafters are a reliable addition to any feeder angler's bait selection. Their balanced buoyancy, secure mounting options and attractive colours make them a practical choice for both match and pleasure fishing.
