Feeder Bait Twister Wafters 12mm Mango Floating Hookbaits for Method Feeder

Feeder Bait Twister Wafters 12mm – Mango are innovative cylindrical wafters designed for anglers who demand a natural, highly effective presentation on the lakebed. These hookbaits are carefully balanced to lift the hookbait off the bottom by approximately the length of the hair, yet they do not raise the hook itself clear of the lakebed. This subtle buoyancy creates a critically balanced presentation that fish can pick up with minimal resistance, making it easier for the hook to find a secure hold in the mouth.

The slow, natural sinking rate of the Twister Wafter is one of its standout characteristics. Rather than dropping heavily onto the lakebed, it descends gradually and settles gently, which helps avoid spooking even cautious or lethargic fish. This is particularly valuable when targeting pressured venues or during colder months when fish are less inclined to chase aggressive presentations.

Each wafter features a speckled, textured surface that has been developed to closely imitate natural food items such as larvae, small shellfish and tiny crustaceans. This visual and textural detail encourages fish to investigate and mouth the bait with confidence, increasing the chances of a positive hook hold.

The cylindrical body is moulded with grooves along its length, allowing a bait band, bait screw or other hair rig system to grip the wafter securely. This makes the Twister Wafter an excellent choice for Method Feeder fishing, where the hookbait must remain firmly attached during the cast and then present naturally on the feeder pile.

Supplied in a 12mm size and a Mango flavour, these wafters offer a proven combination of visual appeal, balanced buoyancy and reliable hookbait retention. They are suitable for a wide range of coarse fish, including carp, F1s, tench and bream, and work well on both commercial fisheries and natural venues.
