Bassday Bun 30F 4.5g is a floating surface lure designed to imitate a beetle or small insect that has fallen onto the water. Its realistic profile and lifelike action make it a highly effective choice for targeting surface-feeding fish, particularly chub.

This lure is a true surface specialist, diving only about 10 cm below the surface. It works aggressively even when fished in current, making it ideal for rivers and streams where flow would otherwise hamper a surface presentation. The compact 3 cm body and 4.5 g weight allow for long, accurate casts, so you can reach fish holding in tricky spots.

The Bassday Bun 30F features bright, high-quality painted finishes that immediately attract the attention of predatory fish. Each colour is applied with care to ensure durability and visual appeal in the water. The lure is equipped with a very sharp treble hook, giving you a strong hook hold when a fish strikes.

Whether you are fishing a slow-moving river or a faster current, the Bassday Bun 30F delivers a lively, aggressive action that triggers surface strikes. Its floating buoyancy means it stays on top, creating a disturbance that fish find hard to resist. This makes it an excellent choice for anglers who enjoy topwater fishing for chub and other surface-oriented species.

Made in Japan, this lure reflects the precision and quality associated with Japanese tackle manufacturing. The Bassday Bun 30F is available in a range of proven colour patterns, allowing you to match the hatch or choose a high-visibility option for different conditions.

Bassday Sugar Minnow Stream 85SP-MR is a 2021 novelty lure designed specifically for salmon fishing. This suspending minnow has been developed to work reliably even in the strongest currents and at greater depths, making it a dependable choice for demanding river and estuary conditions.

In the water the lure performs with a lively, wide wobbling action, rolling from side to side. During the pause it holds a slightly forward-leaning posture, which helps it stay in position in flowing water instead of being swept away. This characteristic is particularly useful when fishing slow presentations in strong current.

The medium-sized lip protects the hooks from snagging on various obstacles, allowing you to fish closer to structure with greater confidence. The lure is equipped with exceptionally sharp X-Strong Treble size 5 hooks, providing reliable hook penetration when a salmon takes.

With a length of 8.5 cm and a weight of 12.5 g, the Sugar Minnow Stream 85SP-MR is a compact yet substantial lure that casts well and remains stable in current. Its suspending behaviour means it stays at the desired depth during pauses, giving fish a longer window to inspect and take the lure.

The Bassday Sugar Minnow Stream is available in a range of proven colour variants, allowing you to match the lure to different water clarity and light conditions. Whether you are targeting salmon in rivers or fishing deeper runs, this lure offers a well-balanced combination of casting performance, current stability and effective hooking.

Bassday Kobun 20F is a tiny floating surface lure that closely mimics a real insect struggling on the water surface. Measuring just 20 mm and weighing only 1.3 g, it is a highly specialised presentation for pressured fish and clear, shallow water. The Kobun is a proven favourite for chub, and its insect-like profile and subtle surface disturbance make it equally effective for trout and other surface-feeding species.

The lure is a true floating model that dives only about 10 cm below the surface on the retrieve. This shallow running depth keeps the bait in the top layer of the water column where surface-oriented predators are actively looking for food. Even in flowing water, the Kobun works aggressively and maintains a lively, enticing action that triggers reaction strikes.

Despite its tiny size, the Kobun casts surprisingly well. The compact body is dense enough to load light rods and deliver accurate casts to rising fish or tight pockets. This makes it an excellent choice for small streams, narrow channels and any situation where precision casting is more important than distance.

The finish is another strong point. The colours are bright and applied with high-quality paint, so the lure stands out clearly against the surface film and immediately attracts the attention of nearby fish. The included treble hook is very sharp, helping to convert tentative surface takes into solid hook-ups.

The Bassday Kobun 20F is made in Japan and reflects the attention to detail and finish quality associated with Japanese lure manufacturing. It is available in selected colour codes, including 343 and 360, allowing anglers to match the hatch or choose a high-visibility option for different light conditions.

This lure is best suited to ultra-light and light spinning tackle. A slow, steady retrieve with occasional pauses will keep the Kobun working close to the surface, while gentle twitches can imitate an insect trying to escape. It is an ideal choice for chub, trout and other small to medium surface-feeding predators in rivers, streams and shallow lakes.
