Okuma 8K Shallow Spool Spare Carp Reel Spool 0.30mm/300m Metal Line Clip

Okuma 8K Shallow Spool is a genuine spare shallow spool designed for the Okuma 8K carp reel. Supplied as a complete replacement spool, it allows you to keep a second line ready to fish and to switch quickly between different line diameters without stripping and re-spooling your main spool on the bank.

The spool is manufactured from metal, giving it a solid, durable feel and reliable performance under the pressure of carp fishing. A metal line clip is fitted to the spool lip, allowing you to clip up accurately at a chosen distance and to cast consistently to the same spot, whether you are fishing a baited area, a marker or a feature.

Because this is a shallow spool, it is particularly useful when you want to fish with different line diameters. A shallow spool takes up less line than a deep spool, so lighter or thinner lines sit closer to the spool lip, which can help with line lay and casting efficiency. It is also a practical way to keep a braided or fluorocarbon set-up separate from your main monofilament without carrying a second complete reel.

The spool offers a line capacity of 0.30 mm / 300 m, making it suitable for typical carp fishing set-ups where a reliable reserve of line is required. Keeping a spare spool loaded and ready means you can adapt to changing conditions, switch between presentations or replace a damaged line quickly and with minimal disruption to your session.

As a genuine Okuma 8K spare part, this shallow spool is designed to fit the Okuma 8K reel and to match its original specification. It is a straightforward, practical accessory for carp anglers who want flexibility, accurate clipping up and the convenience of a pre-loaded second spool.
