Carp Expert Distance Torpedo Carp Leads 60-120g Long Range Fishing Weights

Carp Expert Distance Torpedo leads are specialist carp weights developed for long-range casting and accurate bait presentation at distance. Their streamlined torpedo profile is designed to cut through the air with minimal resistance, helping you reach distant spots that standard leads struggle to cover.

The aerodynamic shape is the defining feature of the Distance Torpedo range. By reducing drag during the cast, the lead travels more efficiently through the air, which is a genuine advantage when fishing large pits, reservoirs and gravel workings where the fish often hold well beyond comfortable casting range.

Once the lead has landed, its subtle colouration blends naturally with the lakebed. This low-visibility finish helps the rig sit inconspicuously among gravel, silt and weed, which can make a real difference when targeting pressured or wary carp in clear water.

The Distance Torpedo is equally at home in bottom fishing and ledgering presentations. Whether you are fishing a bolt rig, a running lead setup or a simple inline arrangement, the weight provides a stable, dependable anchor for your hookbait at range.

The range is available in several weights to suit different rods, casting distances and conditions. Lighter leads in the 60g to 80g bracket are well suited to shorter rods and closer spots, while the 90g, 100g and 120g options give you the mass needed to hold bottom in deeper water, stronger undertow or when casting into a headwind.

Matching the lead weight to your rod's casting rating and the conditions on the day is key to getting the best from the Distance Torpedo. A balanced setup casts more smoothly, lands more accurately and holds position more reliably once it is on the bottom.

If you regularly fish large waters and need a lead that combines long-range casting ability with a discreet underwater profile, the Carp Expert Distance Torpedo is a practical and reliable choice.
