Asso Zig Floating Line 50m Clear Monofilament Zig Rig Hooklink 0.227-0.281mm

Asso Zig Floating is a specialist floating monofilament line developed specifically for tying Zig Rig hooklinks and similar suspended-bait presentations. Its controlled buoyancy allows baits and hookbaits to be presented at a chosen depth in the water column, making it a valuable tool for carp anglers who want to fish away from the lakebed.

The line is produced in a clear colour, which helps it blend into the underwater environment and reduces the chance of fish being spooked by a visible hooklink. This makes it particularly useful in clear or heavily pressured waters where presentation and concealment are important.

Asso Zig Floating is built to be abrasion resistant, so it copes well with the kind of contact that occurs around gravel bars, marginal features, weed edges and other underwater obstacles. It also holds knots reliably, giving anglers confidence when tying small loops, hooklinks and rig components.

Despite its floating properties, the line is very strong for its diameter, offering a good balance between presentation and reliability. It is supplied on a 50 m spool, which is a practical length for tying multiple Zig Rig hooklinks and for carrying in a rig wallet or tackle box.

The line is available in three diameters: 0.227 mm, 0.255 mm and 0.281 mm. This allows anglers to choose a finer diameter for a more subtle presentation or a heavier diameter when extra strength and durability are preferred.

As a monofilament line, it is straightforward to handle, knot and trim, making it suitable for both experienced carp anglers and those new to Zig Rig fishing. It is intended for use as a hooklink or rig material rather than as a main line.
