Katran Galaxy Cast Tapered Shockleader 0.28-0.47mm 12m 5pc Co-Polymer

Katran Galaxy Cast Tapered Shockleader is a fast-sinking, fluorocarbon-based tapered shockleader designed for anglers who need reliable performance when casting at distance. The leader tapers from a fine 0.28 mm tip to a robust 0.47 mm butt section, giving you a subtle presentation at the hook end while retaining the strength and abrasion resistance needed to cope with powerful casts and demanding fishing situations.

Each shockleader is individually separated and clearly marked with its own label, so you can identify the correct leader quickly and spool up without confusion. This is particularly useful when you carry several leaders in your bag or when you are preparing multiple rods for a session.

The tapered construction is a practical choice for long-range casting. The thinner tip helps the bait and rig fly more freely through the rod guides, while the thicker butt section provides a secure, shock-absorbing connection to your main line. This can help reduce the risk of crack-offs during aggressive casts and gives you more confidence when fishing at range.

Made from high-quality co-polymer, the Katran Galaxy Cast shockleader is designed to resist memory. That means it lies straighter on the spool and is less likely to coil or spring back when you are setting up or casting, making it easier to manage during a long session.

This shockleader is suitable for both bottom fishing and carp fishing. Whether you are fishing a feeder rig at distance or presenting a carp rig on a large water, the tapered profile and fast-sinking nature of the material help keep the leader pinned down and working efficiently.

The pack contains 5 shockleaders, each 12 m in length, giving you a generous supply for multiple rigs or replacements. The clear separation and labelling of each leader make the pack convenient to use and easy to store.
