Colmic Xilo Advanced 50m Monofilament Hooklength Line Clear Ice Fishing

Colmic Xilo Advanced is a premium-class monofilament line developed specifically for tying hooklengths and rigs where reliability and finesse matter most. Manufactured using advanced production technologies, it delivers an outstanding combination of strength, suppleness and abrasion resistance that discerning anglers expect from a top-tier Italian line.

The line is supplied on a practical 50 m spool, giving you plenty of material for building multiple rigs throughout the season. Its clear colour blends naturally into the water, helping to keep your presentation as discreet as possible when fish are pressured or the water is particularly clear.

One of the standout characteristics of the Xilo Advanced is its excellent knot strength. Knots seat reliably and hold firm, which is essential when you are fishing fine diameters for wary fish. Whether you tie a simple spade-end knot, a blood knot or a more complex rig connection, the line behaves predictably and gives you confidence with every cast.

The line also offers good elasticity, which helps absorb sudden lunges and protects fine hooklengths when a fish makes a last-minute run. Combined with its abrasion resistance, this makes it a dependable choice around gravel bars, mussel beds, wooden platforms and other abrasive features where lesser lines would quickly weaken.

Thanks to its supple nature and reliable performance in cold conditions, the Xilo Advanced is particularly well suited to ice fishing and other cold-water sessions. It remains manageable on the spool and ties cleanly even when temperatures drop, making it a favourite for anglers targeting perch, roach, bream and other species through the ice.

The range covers a wide selection of diameters from a delicate 0.069 mm right up to a robust 0.250 mm, with breaking strains from approximately 0.745 kg to 10.1 kg. This allows you to match the line precisely to your target species, bait size and fishing situation, from ultra-fine presentations for shy fish to stronger hooklengths for bigger specimens.

All diameters are supplied on the same 50 m spool, so you can build a consistent set of rigs across the range. The line is equally at home on pole rigs, feeder hooklengths, float rigs and light leger setups, making it a versatile addition to any angler's tackle box.
