Gosen Answer Ajing PEx4 150m Braided Line 4 Strand PE 0.076mm 0.083mm Orange

Gosen Answer Ajing PEx4 is a premium four-strand braided fishing line developed by Gosen, one of Japan's leading line manufacturers, specifically for anglers who enjoy ajing (horse mackerel) and nano jigging. This line combines advanced Japanese manufacturing technology with a carefully selected colour to deliver reliable performance in demanding light-game situations.

The construction of the Gosen Answer Ajing PEx4 uses several proprietary technologies. MPX technology applies optimal-thickness strands within the line to maximise strength and resistance to abrasion. HDX technology treats the individual strands to improve the bond between them while simultaneously enhancing the line's smoothness and sensitivity. SG is a Gosen-exclusive technology that further increases sensitivity, helping you detect subtle takes and stay in contact with your lure or jig.

The line is finished in Gosen's specially selected Orange Cocktail colour. This high-visibility shade is designed to remain easy to see not only in daylight but also in low-light conditions and at night, making it a practical choice for anglers who fish into the evening or in poor light.

With a length of 150 m per spool, the Gosen Answer Ajing PEx4 provides ample line for multiple re-spools or for filling a small spinning reel. It is available in two PE-rated diameters: PE#0.2 (0.076 mm, 2.3 kg) and PE#0.25 (0.083 mm, 2.7 kg). These fine diameters and light breaking strains are well suited to ultra-light presentations where finesse and sensitivity matter.

The four-strand braided construction offers a good balance of roundness, smoothness and strength for its class. The smooth surface helps the line pass quietly through the rod guides, while the low diameter allows small lures and jigs to be presented naturally. The enhanced sensitivity provided by the HDX and SG technologies helps transmit information from the lure back to the angler, which is particularly useful when fishing soft plastics, micro jigs and other finesse lures.

This line is aimed at anglers targeting horse mackerel, mackerel, scad and similar small saltwater species, as well as those fishing nano jigs and micro lures in estuaries, harbours and along rocky shorelines. Its fine diameter and high visibility make it a strong candidate for light rock fishing (LRF), ajing and other ultralight saltwater techniques.
