Xesta Black Star Hard - designed to catch sea bass (grouper) in the rocky waters off the coast of Japan, often by forcing the fish out of various snags. Each rod in this series therefore has an exceptional power reserve, somewhat reminiscent of American bass rods, while retaining the Japanese finesse in design and assembly.

The Xesta Black Star Hard B72MHXis a casting rod that we believe is ideal for fishing for pelagic fish (sturgeon and pike) using live sonar and medium-sized silicone baits up to 21cm long. It is also an option for trolling 14-17cm wobblers or small jerkbaits.
