Prof Montaz Carp 30-40g Bottom Fishing Rig with Round Feeder & 2 Hooks

Prof Montaz Carp 30-40g is a ready-tied bottom fishing rig designed for reliable presentation when targeting carp, bream and other wary coarse fish. The rig is built around a Leadcore leader combined with a round feeder and two hooks that are arranged so they do not tangle with each other during casting or on the retrieve.

The use of a Leadcore leader is a well-established approach in bottom fishing because it helps the rig settle neatly on the lakebed and can reduce the chance of the hooklength tangling around the main line. This makes the rig particularly useful when fishing at range or in situations where a clean, tangle-free presentation is important.

The two hooks are strong and durable, attached to a braided hooklink. The braided material offers a supple connection that allows the hooks to sit naturally and move freely, which can help improve hooking potential when fish are cautious. The hooks are positioned so that they remain separated, reducing the risk of one hook fouling the other.

The round feeder is available in 30 g and 40 g versions, allowing you to choose the weight that best suits the distance you need to cast and the conditions you are fishing in. A heavier feeder can help hold bottom in wind or current, while a lighter feeder is useful for shorter casts and calmer conditions.

The rig has a total length of 30 cm, making it a compact and manageable setup that is easy to store, transport and attach to your main line. It is suitable for use with a bottom fishing rod and is aimed at anglers who want a dependable, ready-made rig without having to tie one themselves.

This rig is well suited to bottom fishing for carp, bream and other peaceful coarse species. It can be used on stillwaters, lakes and slow-moving rivers where a feeder presentation is effective. Whether you are a beginner looking for a simple, ready-tied option or an experienced angler wanting a spare rig in your box, the Prof Montaz Carp rig offers a practical solution.
