Handmade Phosphorescent Smelt Rig KK – Glow Lure with Kamatsu Size 8 Hooks

Handmade Phosphorescent Smelt Rig KK is a Lithuanian-made, multi-coloured smelt rig designed for anglers targeting smelt through the ice or in open water. Each rig is assembled by hand, giving it a distinctive finish and reliable performance when it matters most.

The rig is built around sharp and strong Kamatsu size 8 hooks. These hooks are chosen for their reliable hooking ability, helping you convert every smelt bite into a landed fish. The hook points are designed to penetrate quickly, which is essential when fish are feeding cautiously or when bites are light.

The body of the rig features bright, attractive colours that are highly visible in the water. In low-light conditions, the phosphorescent material glows in the dark, making the rig easier for smelt to locate and strike. This glow effect is particularly useful during dawn, dusk, night sessions and under ice, when natural light is limited.

With a total length of 1.9 cm including the hook, the KK smelt rig is compact and well suited to small presentations. The multi-coloured, handmade construction gives it a natural yet enticing appearance that appeals to smelt without overwhelming them.

This rig is ideal for ice fishing and winter smelt fishing, where small, glowing presentations often produce the best results. It can be fished with a variety of baits or as a standalone attractor, depending on local regulations and angler preference.

Whether you are a seasoned smelt angler or trying the species for the first time, the Handmade Phosphorescent Smelt Rig KK offers a practical combination of sharp hooks, glowing colours and compact size. Its handmade quality and Lithuanian origin make it a distinctive choice for your tackle box.
