Tonar Ice Chisel Spud Bar 138cm Ice Fishing Safety Tool with Carry Bag 2.3kg

Tonar Ice Chisel is an essential safety tool for anyone heading out onto frozen water. Designed to break through the ice quickly and accurately, it allows anglers to check ice thickness and strength before committing to a fishing spot, helping to determine whether the surface is safe to walk on.

Checking the ice is one of the most important routines in winter fishing, and a dedicated ice chisel makes this task fast and reliable. By striking the surface, the chisel reveals both the depth and the condition of the ice, giving a clear indication of whether it can support a person. This is particularly valuable when venturing onto first ice, when conditions can vary considerably from one area to another.

The Tonar Ice Chisel measures 138 cm in overall length, providing useful reach when testing the ice ahead of your position. For transport and storage, it breaks down to a compact 52 cm, making it easy to carry alongside other winter gear. At 2.3 kg, it has enough weight to drive through the ice effectively while remaining manageable to handle.

A practical carry bag is included, which keeps the chisel protected and makes it convenient to transport to and from the water. The bag also helps keep the tool tidy when stored between trips.

Whether you are an experienced ice angler or heading out for the first time, an ice chisel is a fundamental piece of winter safety equipment. The Tonar Ice Chisel offers a straightforward, dependable way to assess ice conditions before you step onto the surface.
