Velniukas Ice Fishing Rig 28–56g – Perch System with Soft Bait

The Velniukas ice fishing rig is a popular and highly effective winter perch fishing system designed for active ice fishing. The rig features a heavy bottom weight, two moving loop attachments, and a fixed soft bait, adding extra attraction in cold water conditions.

By tapping the weight on the bottom, the rig creates vibrations and sediment clouds that draw perch in from a distance. As the rig is lifted and dropped, the hooks and soft bait move naturally, imitating small prey and triggering strikes even from inactive fish.

This setup is especially effective in large waters, including lagoons, reservoirs, and lakes.
