Akara Balalaika Ice Fishing Rod 25.5cm 11g Carbon Tip Winter Rod

Akara Balalaika Ice Fishing Rod is a very lightweight winter rod with a slimmed-down body, designed for anglers who demand sensitivity and control when fishing through the ice. Its compact dimensions and low weight make it a practical choice for mobile ice fishing sessions where every gram and every movement counts.

The rod features a thin carbon fibre tip that provides the responsiveness needed to detect delicate takes. An additional guide positioned at the mid-point of the tip helps keep the line aligned and reduces the risk of tangling, which is a common frustration when fishing with fine lines in cold conditions.

The reel body is lined with a special cold-resistant silicone, a detail that helps maintain smooth operation when temperatures drop. Inside the reel, Lavsan inserts are fitted to ensure the spool rotates freely and consistently, supporting reliable line release and retrieval during winter sessions.

Once a bite indicator is attached, the rod performs excellently with a wide range of small jigs and spoons, making it a versatile tool for targeting perch, roach and other winter species. The balanced design allows for precise jigging actions and confident hook sets.

The Akara Balalaika is available in five colour options: Red, Black, Blue, Green and Yellow. This allows anglers to choose a finish that suits their personal preference or visibility needs on the ice.
