Mepps Comet Gold Red Dots Spinner Lure 3.5g 6.5g VMC Treble Pike Perch

Mepps Comet Gold Red Dots is a premium inline spinner from the legendary French manufacturer Mepps, a name trusted by anglers around the world for high-quality metal lures. The Comet range is built around an exceptional copper alloy body, a material chosen for its durability and its ability to produce a strong, consistent flash in the water.

The blade is finished with modern Brite pigments applied over a silver mirror-finish plate. As the blade rotates beneath the surface it creates a powerful burst of colour and reflected light, a presentation that reliably draws the attention of predatory fish. The gold body with red dots adds a proven colour combination that stands out in both clear and lightly coloured water.

Each lure is fitted with a sharp VMC treble hook, a well-regarded hook brand known for reliable hook holds. The weighted body helps the spinner run at a stable depth and allows it to be fished with a steady retrieve, or with a jerk-style retrieve using slow and irregular pauses to trigger follows and takes.

The Mepps Comet is a versatile spinner suitable for a wide range of freshwater predators. It can be cast and retrieved along weed edges, drop-offs, bridges and other structure where perch, pike, zander and trout are likely to be holding. The rotating blade produces strong vibration and flash, making it effective in both clear and slightly coloured water.

This listing covers two sizes. Size 1 weighs 3.5 g with a length of 45 mm, and size 3 weighs 6.5 g with a length of 63 mm. The lighter size is well suited to lighter rods and smaller predators, while the heavier size offers longer casting and is a good choice when fishing deeper or in windier conditions.

If you are looking for a proven, well-made spinner that combines a classic French design with modern colour technology, the Mepps Comet Gold Red Dots is a dependable addition to any predator angler's tackle box.
