Mat for carp fishing in Hokkaido

Hokkaido mat/pad - made of soft material, designed for carp and other fish fishing. The mat is placed on the ground and got wet, then the catch is placed on it. This protects the fish from dirt and possible infections entering its body. The mats are required to be carried when fishing on commercial water bodies or in competitions.
