Savage Gear Titanium Jerkbait Trace Predator Leaders 22cm 30cm Pike Trace

Savage Gear Titanium Jerkbait Trace is a premium trace designed for serious predator fishing, combining a strong carbon steel construction with the proven reliability of the Savage Gear brand. These traces are built to withstand the aggressive strikes and sharp teeth of pike and other predatory species, making them an essential component of any jerkbait or spinning setup.

The traces are made from strong carbon steel, a material chosen for its excellent strength-to-diameter ratio and resistance to kinking. This construction helps maintain the trace's integrity even after repeated use, ensuring that your lure presentation remains effective cast after cast. The titanium-based design offers a subtle advantage in the water, as it is less prone to bending out of shape compared to traditional wire traces.

Each pack contains 2 traces, providing a convenient spare or allowing you to rig multiple rods. The traces are available in two length and strength options to suit different fishing situations:

• 22 cm – 20 kg: A shorter, lighter option ideal for smaller jerkbaits and situations where a compact presentation is preferred.
• 30 cm – 25 kg: A longer, stronger option suitable for larger lures and targeting bigger predators.

These traces are particularly well-suited to jerkbait fishing and other spinning techniques for pike, where a reliable leader is critical. The carbon steel construction provides the necessary bite resistance, while the titanium element helps the trace retain its shape, reducing the need for constant replacement. Whether you are casting large jerkbaits or fishing with soft plastics, these traces offer a dependable connection between your main line and lure.

When selecting a trace, consider the size of your lure and the potential size of the fish you are targeting. The 22 cm version is a good match for smaller jerkbaits and lighter setups, while the 30 cm version offers extra security for larger lures and bigger pike. Both options are designed to deliver reliable performance in demanding freshwater predator fishing.
